Does extreme cuteness inspire donations? We think so! A few of our talented kindergarteners starred in this must-watch video about “Genius.” It was shown at the annual SchoolPower gala and helped spark over $350,000 of generous contributions for our schools.

- LBHS AP ceramics students to participate in coastal eddy art gallery exhibit April 4 to May 9. More info.
- LBUSD elementary schools announce the 2015-16 Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten registration and orientation schedule. Enrollment in the early bird kinder classes are based on first come first served basis. Space is limited so register early if you need your child to attend kinder at the 8AM start time versus 10AM. JOG-A-THON
Did you know that the jogathon funds over 60% of our programs? It’s not too late to donate! Envelopes due tomorrow so your child’s class is eligible for prizes!
IMAGINATION CELEBRATION
Finish up your art during spring break and bring it to the front office NO LATER THAN Tuesday, April 14th. Limit two pieces per student. Art selected for exhibit is showcased at the South Coast Plaza Crate & Barrel Wing, and some pieces are selected for other prestigious exhibits, including the Festival of Arts Junior Art exhibit here in Laguna Beach. Entry labels (required) can be obtained on the Orange County Department of Education Website. More details.
BOOK SWAP
Bring a book – get a book! Bring up to 10 gently used or new books. Book drop-off April 13-16. Book Swap is Friday, April 17. Volunteers needed all week to sort books–drop by the MPR whenever you can and you’ll find instructions on what to do. Contact Sheri Morgan for more info.
FAMILY ART NIGHT
Bring your whole family on Friday, April 24th from 6:00-7:30pm for an evening of clay sculpture! Long-time sawdust artist Patti Klingenmeier (Patti’s People) will lead us in sculpture using polymer clay to make family models. See more info and RSVP.

Join us on Monday, April 27 at 8:15am in the MPR for a presentation on the TOW facilities plans by Jeff Dixon, LBUSD Director of Facilities, plus other PTA business.
