Weekly Update: 3/05 – 3/13

 In News

Hello TOW Families,

Thank you all for your amazing support of TOW this week. We ate a TON of ZPizza and worked it off at POPCycle!

We look forward to seeing lots of TOW students march in the Patriot’s Day Parade on Saturday. For those who haven’t been to this event, it’s a can’t-miss small town celebration.

Hug your 5th grader–they’ve been working hard out at PE during physical fitness testing this week! And don’t forget to change your clock–Daylight Savings begins on Sunday.

PRINCIPAL BLAST

IT’S A WRAP

Read the latest school board wrap up for news from the last school board meeting.

CAASPP

The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP), our new state academic testing program for 3rd to 5th graders, is tentatively planned for the window of April 20th to May 29. The test is estimated to take approximately 9 hours, but it is not timed, so students can take as long as they need. Testing will be spread over a period of two weeks for each student.  Teachers will share the exact dates their class is testing during the above mentioned window in the coming weeks.

TYPING PRACTICE

With the upcoming computer-based state assessment for grades 3-5, here a two free typing practice websites that we encourage your child to try at home:
