Hello TOW Families,
It was so amazing to see so many TOW students in the Patriot’s Day Parade this past Saturday. Congrats to our Yankee Doodle playin’ elementary band who took home a trophy!
Don’t forget minimum days next Thursday and Friday (and conferences, as needed), plus our biggest fundraiser, the Jog-A-Thon on Friday!
PRINCIPAL BLAST
AFTER SCHOOL CLASS REMINDER
The third session of after school classes starts Monday, March 23. There are no after school classes next week. The second session is over.
COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER (CLC)
CLC Orientation for the upcoming school year is April 1st at 9:45am in the courtyard. The history and philosophy of CLC will be discussed along with a tour of the classrooms. More info.
BYE-BYE BIRDIE
Bye-Bye Birdie opens Friday March 13th! It is the final Spring Musical for Director Mark Dressler, who after 25 years with LBUSD, is retiring. It is a classic musical with about 100 students participating! Don’t miss performances by four of our own TOW students: Katie Baker, Kai Jay Rose, Aubrey Kansriddle, and Jude Young. BIKE RODEO
Join the LB Police Department for a Bike Rodeo on Sunday, March 22. Enjoy free hot dogs, a bike raffle and a BMX stunt show performed by Robert Castillo’s BMX Freestyle Team. Read more.

JOG-A-THON
Jog-A-Thon is around the corner on Friday, March 20! Support a runner online and fill those envelopes! Volunteer to mark laps or help hydrate the runners! Parents, we also need two helpers from each class to help pass out popsicles following their run–stick around.

JOG-A-THON JUICE BAR SPONSORS NEEDED
Please donate $10.00 toward the purchase of juice bars for enjoyment by your child’s class after the Jog-A-Thon! Make checks payable to “LBHS Class of 2022” and write “JAT Juice Bars” and your child’s teacher in the memo line. Turn in checks to the front office or your child’s classroom by Wednesday, March 18th. Thank-you for your support of the 5th grade graduating class!
