Welcome back! We hope you had a relaxing break and are ready for March!
Congratulations to the TOW Destination Imagination teams who competed in the regional tournament last Saturday. “TOW Tech” and “CATS” placed 7th and 9th in the technical challenge. The “Swift Snow Leopards” placed 5th in the fine arts challenge and will be advancing to the state finals! We are so proud of all of our teams–what a great debut year of Destination Imagination for TOW! If you are interested in the program, look for more information about Destination Imagination next Fall.

Parents, please remember that cell phones are NOT to be used when driving…California Law states that it is against the law to use a hand held phone while driving.

TOW PTA NEWS
Order ZPizza for TOW! We are teaming up with ZPizza (South Laguna location in Albertson’s Center)! ALL DAY on Tuesday, March 3rd 25% of dine-in, take out and delivery orders will benefit TOW PTA. This is an easy way to support your school by simply eating pizza!
Come sweat for a cause! On Thursday, March 5 at 9:45am, POPcycle 2.0, an official SPINNING® Facility, is hosting a donation-based 55-minute ride with 100% of donations benefitting TOW PTA! Bring your water bottle, a minimum donation of $10, and a friend! Coffee and refreshments will be served after the ride. Click here to reserve your bike and use promo code POPforTOW. After-School Programs Spring Session 3 online registration opens a week from Saturday on March 7th. This is the last after-school session of the year! Classes and more information to come next week.
Volunteer hours needed! For TOW PTA to maintain our non-profit status, each year we are required to gather all of our volunteer hours. We know that you all check in with the front office when you volunteer at the school (right?!), but many parents work on PTA stuff at home, pick up supplies, make phone calls, etc. ALL of these tasks count as volunteer time and we need to know about it! Find out how to submit your hours. Deadline March 15.
